Christ Church, Wickford

Christ Church offers a warm welcome to all members of the family.

We are a lively multi-cultural church based in the heart of the community of Wickford, Essex, UK, and are active members of 'Churches in Wickford and Runwell' with a covenant relationship with the local Anglican churches.

Our mission statement is to worship and glorify God, to further his kingdom by proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ, and to grow as His disciples becoming channels of His love through service and care.

About Us

Christ Church is a local ecumenical partnership established on 22nd September 1970. The uniting churches had both been active in Wickford long before this; Wickford Congregational Church from 1811 and the Methodist Church from 1920.
